Sonoma County Wineries Celebrate the Season

Beat the winter blues by ringing in the new year right. The 21st annual Winter WINEland is right around the corner and brought to you by the association known for celebrating wine country no matter what the season. Wine Road is made up of 190 vintners and 50 lodgings throughout the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River valleys in Sonoma County and organizes Winter WINEland in January; Barrel Tasting in March; and A Wine and Food Affair in November.

In this video, Monique Soltani makes a grape escape along the Wine Road less traveled for her award-winning channel Wine Oh TV, and finds why walking in a Winter WINEland is sure to warm you up!

Winter WINEland 2013

In its 21st year, Winter WINEland invites guests to create their own journey through wine country discovering new wines, tasting limited production wines, new releases or library wines. At participating wineries throughout the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys, some wineries will offer food pairings and others will have tours.

Not only a celebration of wine in Sonoma County, Winter WINEland showcases the area’s reputation for inspiring creativity by highlighting the many artists that call the region home. It also honors the art and history of winemaking, giving guests behind-the-scenes access to the people, practices and wines that make Wine Road one of the most exciting wine country destinations in California.
