Fall Wine Favorites (VIDEO)

Autumn Wines in the Air

Labor Day weekend is right around the corner and the holiday weekend signifies the end of light summer wines and the start of bigger and bolder wine buys.  With the switch of seasons only a few weeks away, we are giving you your fill of some of our favorite wines for fall.

In this wine video, Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani makes a Grape Escape along the Wine Road less traveled and shows us how saying goodbye to summer wines in Northern Sonoma County can still sparkle.

Pedroncelli Winery

1220 Canyon Road, Geyserville CA 95441

Pedroncelli Winery, founded in 1927, remains family owned and operated with the second, third and fourth generations sustainably farming 105 acres in Dry Creek Valley. Beautiful estate vineyard views from the tasting room and Bocce court are just part of the charm at Pedroncelli.  Since 1927, when John Pedroncelli, Sr. purchased vineyard and a small winery in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley, two elements remain unchanged: the exceptional place the Pedroncelli family farms vineyards, and the family’s dedication to making fine wines. Open daily from 10-4:30.

  1. 5 Zinfandels to Try & ZINsational Wine Pairings  | Wine Oh TV | Wine Videos, News and Reviews

[…] Anyone who says Zinfandel can’t age obviously hasn’t had the pleasure of partaking in this 1986 Pedroncelli Zinfandel. It’s not surprising that this family can make an age worthy Zin given their rich roots in the region. Since 1927, when John Pedroncelli, Sr. purchased vineyard and a small winery in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley, two elements remain unchanged: it’s still and it is still a family owned business and they still make ZINsational wine.
